Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-08-16
Gridge runs entirely on your own computer. Its developer never receives your data. This page describes what stays on the machine and what is never written down at all.
What is recorded
Your connection settings (name, host, port, database, user and safety mode) and, if you have enabled the paid features, a history of the SQL you ran. Passwords and SQL text are encrypted with the Windows credential store (DPAPI). Where that encryption is unavailable, neither is saved at all.
What is not recorded
Query results, table contents, usage statistics, crash reports, and advertising or analytics identifiers. Nothing is transmitted to the developer. While you are using the free features, the history of statements is not kept either.
Where it is kept
All of it on your own computer, in the per-user application data folder that Windows provides. Deleting that folder after uninstalling leaves nothing behind.
Network
Gridge talks only to the database servers and bastion hosts you configure. Licence keys are verified on the device with no network access, and there is no update check. Purchases open a Stripe page in your default browser, so card details never pass through Gridge.
Third parties
None. There is no recipient, and there is no data to share.
